Faro privacy policy

Last updated: October 27, 2026

In short: Faro collects no personal data, has no user accounts, uses no analytics or advertising and doesn't track you. What you do in the app stays on your device.

1. Controller

2. Data the app processes

3. Data processed by Apple and Google

When you download the app, the store (App Store or Google Play) processes certain data, such as your account, the download or purchases, as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.

If you've agreed in your device settings to share crash reports and usage statistics with developers, Apple or Google may provide us with aggregated, anonymous crash reports and metrics. We only use them to fix bugs and improve the app. You can turn this off at any time in your device's privacy settings.

4. If you email us

If you contact us for support, we'll process your email and what you tell us only to help you, based on your consent. We'll keep it while the conversation lasts and for up to 2 years afterwards, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. More details in the general Palmeras privacy policy.

5. Sharing

We don't sell or share data with third parties. Since the app collects no personal data, there's nothing to share.

6. Deleting your data

All the app's data lives on your device: uninstalling the app deletes it. If you've emailed us and want those messages deleted, ask us at hello@palmeras.app.

7. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by emailing hello@palmeras.app. We'll reply within one month at most. If you believe we haven't handled your data properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or your local authority.

8. Children

The app collects no personal data from anyone, including children. If a future feature processes data, we'll respect each country's minimum age of consent (14 in Spain) and the stores' rules for family apps.

9. Changes

If the app starts processing any data or this policy changes, we'll update this page and its date before releasing the new version and, if the change is significant, we'll also mention it in the update notes.
