Palmeras is the trade name under which its owner, an individual, designs and publishes mobile apps. It is not a company, so there is no Commercial Registry entry. The activity requires no prior administrative authorisation and is not a regulated profession.
2. Purpose and scope
This legal notice governs access to and use of palmeras.app and all its pages ("the website"). The website presents the Palmeras studio and its iOS and Android apps, and provides support and privacy information for each of them.
By browsing the website you become a user and accept these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use it.
Access is free, requires no registration, and the website does not sell any products or services.
3. Terms of use
You agree to use the website properly, in accordance with the law, good faith and public order. In particular, you agree not to:
- Use the website for unlawful purposes or in ways that could harm the rights or interests of others.
- Introduce or spread viruses, malicious code or anything that could damage the website or other users' devices.
- Try to access restricted areas or the systems of the owner or its providers, or overload the infrastructure (for example, with massive automated requests).
- Reproduce, copy or distribute the website's content beyond what section 5 allows.
4. Our apps
Palmeras apps are downloaded exclusively through Apple's App Store and Google Play. Downloading and using them is governed, in addition to this notice, by:
- The terms of the relevant store. On the App Store, Apple's standard end-user licence agreement applies (Licensed Application EULA) unless the app's listing states otherwise.
- Each app's own privacy policy, linked from its store listing and from this website.
If any app ever includes purchases, subscriptions or advertising, its listing and policy will say so clearly before you download it. Payments are always handled by the store (Apple or Google); Palmeras never receives your payment details.
5. Intellectual and industrial property
The texts, design, the Palmeras logo (including the palm-tree "l"), illustrations, animations, original source code and apps are owned by Daniel Martínez Pascual or used under proper licence. All rights reserved.
You may view, link to and share the website for personal, non-commercial purposes. Any other reproduction, distribution, public communication or transformation, in whole or in part, requires prior written permission.
The website uses third-party components under free licences, whose rights belong to their authors:
- Bricolage Grotesque and Fraunces typefaces, under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
- GSAP (GreenSock), under its standard no-charge licence.
- Lenis (darkroom.engineering), under the MIT licence.
Apple, App Store, iPhone and iOS are trademarks of Apple Inc. Google Play and Android are trademarks of Google LLC. They are mentioned for descriptive purposes only and imply no affiliation or endorsement.
6. Liability
We work to keep the website's information accurate and up to date and the site running without interruption, but we can't guarantee it at all times. To the extent permitted by law, the owner is not liable for:
- Interruptions, technical errors or unavailability caused by factors beyond its control, maintenance or force majeure.
- Damage resulting from use of the website contrary to these terms.
- Viruses or harmful elements introduced by third parties despite the security measures in place.
Nothing above limits your rights under consumer protection law.
7. Links
The website may link to third-party sites (for example, the App Store, Google Play or the Spanish Data Protection Agency). We don't control their content or policies and are not responsible for them; we recommend reviewing their terms. If you spot a link to unlawful content, email us and we'll remove it.
You're free to link to palmeras.app, as long as you don't suggest a relationship that doesn't exist or link from unlawful content.
8. Data protection and cookies
How we handle personal data is explained in our privacy policy.
This website uses no cookies or any other technology that stores or reads information on your device (such as localStorage or sessionStorage), whether our own or third-party. There is no analytics, advertising or embedded social media. That's why we don't show you a consent banner. If this ever changes, we'll update this information and ask for your permission before using any technology that requires it.
9. Changes to this notice
We may update this legal notice to reflect legal changes or changes to the website. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with its last-updated date.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
This legal notice is governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be submitted to the courts that are competent under the law; if you act as a consumer, those of your place of residence. Before anything else, we encourage you to email us at hello@palmeras.app: almost everything gets solved by talking.
