Sombrillas privacy policy
In short: Sombrillas collects no personal data, has no user accounts, uses no analytics or advertising and doesn't track you. What you do in the app stays on your device.
1. Controller
- AppSombrillas
- ControllerDaniel Martínez Pascual (Palmeras)
- Contacthello@palmeras.app
2. Data the app processes
- Personal data: none. The app doesn't ask you to sign up or log in, and sends no information about you to our servers or anyone else's.
- Content and settings: anything you create or configure in the app is stored only on your device (and, if enabled, in your Apple or Google account backup, which they manage). We have no access to it.
- Permissions: the app doesn't request access to your location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone. If a future version needs a permission, the system will ask you when you use that feature, explaining why, and we'll update this policy.
- Tracking: we use no advertising identifiers and don't track your activity across other apps or websites.
Game Center and sharing
- Game Center (optional): if you are signed in to Game Center on your iPhone, the game sends Apple your total stars (for the leaderboard) and your progress on achievements. Apple handles this with your Game Center account and under its own privacy policy; your Game Center friends may see it depending on your settings. We never receive your name, email or any other data about you. If you don't use Game Center, the game works the same and sends nothing.
- Sharing: the card with your result is created on your device and only leaves it when you tap “Share” and choose where to send it.
- Your game: progress, shells, what you buy in the in-game shop (with shells, never with money) and your language and sound settings are stored only on your device.
3. Data processed by Apple and Google
When you download the app, the store (App Store or Google Play) processes certain data, such as your account, the download or purchases, as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.
If you've agreed in your device settings to share crash reports and usage statistics with developers, Apple or Google may provide us with aggregated, anonymous crash reports and metrics. We only use them to fix bugs and improve the app. You can turn this off at any time in your device's privacy settings.
4. If you email us
If you contact us for support, we'll process your email and what you tell us only to help you, based on your consent. We'll keep it while the conversation lasts and for up to 2 years afterwards, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. More details in the general Palmeras privacy policy.
5. Sharing
We don't sell or share data with third parties. Since the app collects no personal data, there's nothing to share.
6. Deleting your data
All the app's data lives on your device: uninstalling the app deletes it. If you've emailed us and want those messages deleted, ask us at hello@palmeras.app.
7. Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by emailing hello@palmeras.app. We'll reply within one month at most. If you believe we haven't handled your data properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or your local authority.
8. Children
The app collects no personal data from anyone, including children. If a future feature processes data, we'll respect each country's minimum age of consent (14 in Spain) and the stores' rules for family apps.
9. Changes
If the app starts processing any data or this policy changes, we'll update this page and its date before releasing the new version and, if the change is significant, we'll also mention it in the update notes.
